Criado em 13 de novembro de 2012 pelos Professores Gustavo Tepedino, Luis Edson Fachin\u00a0e Paulo Luis Neto L\u00f4bo, o IBDCivil visa a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um locus privilegiado para pensar, debater e construir o direito civil contempor\u00e2neo a luz da legalidade constitucional, comprometido com a compatibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o das fontes normativas, com o desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es hermen\u00eauticas e propostas doutrin\u00e1rias direcionadas a harmoniza\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00facleos de regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o jur\u00eddica da atividade privada, bem como com a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de modelos jur\u00eddicos, no direito brasileiro e comparado, aptos a disciplinar as rela\u00e7\u00f5es jur\u00eddicas e conferir seguran\u00e7a ao tr\u00e1fego negocial.<\/p>\n
Estruturado como associa\u00e7\u00e3o, pessoa jur\u00eddica de direito privado, sem fins lucrativos nem filia\u00e7\u00e3o partid\u00e1ria, o Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Civil – IBDCivil pretende ampla atua\u00e7\u00e3o nacional, sem descurar de inser\u00e7\u00f5es regionais e estaduais, por meio de suas diretorias.<\/p>\n
S\u00e3o objetivos do IBDCivil a promo\u00e7\u00e3o peri\u00f3dica de palestras e congressos; a oferta de cursos de especializa\u00e7\u00e3o ou atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o; a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisas e o desenvolvimento de estudos, consolidados em bancos de dados, relat\u00f3rios, revista especializada, newsletter eletr\u00f4nica exclusiva para os associados e publica\u00e7\u00f5es com selo editorial pr\u00f3prio; a presta\u00e7\u00e3o de consultoria, pro bono; a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o de um centro de documenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a atua\u00e7\u00e3o como amicus curiae, sendo, todavia, vedada a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do IBDCivil para a defesa, em ju\u00edzo, de interesses difusos, coletivos e individuais homog\u00eaneos, bem como de quaisquer outros que n\u00e3o sejam inerentes aos seus fins sociais.<\/p>\n
